The Roger Mayer 4644 Drive is a handwired overdrive pedal, designed and built in the UK. It features dual input/output, gain, tone and output controls, and will run off an optional power supply.

Designed as a no compromise design the 4644 Drive excels giving the guitarist performance that stands out from the usual devices he may have previously encountered. Ultra wideband discrete design produces transparency and detail that cannot be obtained from conventional op-amp designs. The 4644 Drive harmonics are generated by our proprietary feed forward design with zero phase, time delay or any other nasty artefacts that simply means it is so fast that it will follow and track all your playing techniques perfectly. The optimised series of harmonics produced are very musical and natural sounding over a wide dynamic range. The guitar’s VOLUME pot can now be used as a master drive control when playing without compromising your tone when the volume is backed off. Set the DRIVE once on the pedal and use the guitar’s VOLUME making it very performance friendly.

A carefully crafted passive TONE circuit has been optimised to compliment and adjust the harmonic content for both Single Coil and Humbucker Pickup types used in most guitars and will provide that personal tweak to obtain your perfect tone. The OUTPUT control will set up the overall gain of the 4644 DRIVE to provide a significant boost where desired.

The 4644 Drive uses the latest high speed feed forward design techniques to set a new standard in player control and feeling without any latency, misting or blurring of your technique. Your attack and playing nuances will be preserved and not compromised. The combination of the 4644 DRIVE in front of the 615 SMOOTH are proving to be a marriage made in heaven and are receiving rave reviews from guitarists. Delivery

Any order placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri) will be despatched that same day. We ship worldwide, fully tracked and insured, and you can follow your shipment online every step of the way.

UK Delivery (mainland and non-extended areas): Free, next day service as standard on all guitars. Saturday delivery services also available. Please contact us if you wish to specify a particular delivery date.

Non-UK Delivery: Worldwide shipping prices are calculated at the checkout. Fully insured and tracked via UPS. Please note; customs and duty charges will be payable on delivery.

No hassle returns

We know how much of a gamble it can be purchasing a guitar online without trying it first. That’s why if you receive your order and it’s not as you expected, let us know within 14 working days and we will have it collected by UPS.

Once back we will refund (minus restocking charge) or exchange the item if preferred. Online purchases only.

Fully setup & triple checked quality control

We have in-house guitar technicians here at Guitar Village, so that means all guitars in stock are constantly checked and maintained for optimum playability.

As soon as a guitar is sold it will be fully set-up to ensure it is playing great right out of the box. It will then go through an inspection checklist and is checked again for quality and playability by two more members of staff. Let us know any preferred setup requirements and we will be happy to oblige!

Guarantee

All new products come with a 12 month warranty as standard. Some products will come with an extended manufacturer’s warranty - these will be included with the product and will usually need to be activated after purchase via the manufacturer’s website. Ex Demo products will also come with a 12 month warranty. Pre-owned products come with a 3 month warranty.

Real time stock levels

Fed up with websites advertising guitar that they don’t actually have? So are we! The Guitar Village website is updated in real-time, so that means the second we sell out of a guitar the website will say ‘out of stock’. If it says ‘In Stock’, rest assured we do actually have it in stock and ready to go!

We don’t want you to have any nasty surprises when you receive a guitar from us so we do our own photography in-house.

Any high-end guitar with a figured finish or unique features will have its own images. If you see “✓ Actual product in photograph(s)” next to the product listing, this will be the actual item you receive.

Any guitar priced under £2000 with an opaque/block finish, or lightly figured woods may have an example image of the guitar.

Don’t fancy the painful wait at home for the courier to deliver your new toy?

If you’re not a million miles away not come in and collect it from the shop? All you need to do it select “Collect from store” at the checkout, pay in full online then pop in with proof of purchase, along with some photo ID* and you can take it away right then and there!

*Photo ID must be a valid passport or driving license.

Ex Demo/New Old Stock Products

Occasionally we list items as ‘Ex Demo’ or ‘New Old Stock’. These are new but may not necessarily be in perfect condition and could have had minor repairs, marks, scratches and/or other defects.

These will be fully described and discounted accordingly.
