Dear Sirs, Just dropping you a line to say how pleased my husband is with his Cordoba Ukelele. He plays Guitar and our young grandson brought his school ukelele home for the weekend. T was very interested and our grandson was very keen to show his Grandad how well he was doing playing the instrument. So of course l immediately thought what a great Christmas present for T. After a good deal of research l found a very good Ukelele at Guitar Village - the rest is history. So many thanks (January 2026)

Just wanted to say thank you for getting the Martin out yesterday which arrived safely and nice and early this morning. Haven’t opened up the bits and bobs etc yet but had a quick look / play on the guitar and it’s awesome. My dad will love it.

Best guitar store I’ve been to. They seem to have EVERYTHING. Really good if you need to try and compare different guitar brands and models because they’ve got so many. Service was topnotch and got good recommendations from Adam at the store who listens to your needs and will bring you a few guitars to try. (July 2025)

I went into Guitar Village for the first time today and was blown away, what an incredible place!! Buying an instrument online, especially at a considerable distance, is always something that creates a certain amount of apprehension for various reasons, and especially when spending a large sum of money.

Utterly amazing store for guitar lovers! There are 100s of guitars of all sorts with very knowledgeable staff, all set in a beautiful building dating back to the 1400s. Would highly recommend!

Friendly helpful staff, and an absolute Aladdin’s Cave of guitars from all eras; electric, bass, acoustic, vintage and collectible. The building itself is just as interesting, with a history dating from the 1400s.

Richard was very responsive to my initial enquiry, and they were able to ship my beautiful new guitar to me in absolutely mint condition. I live in a fairly remote corner of the world so managing to get an instrument here is no small feat. Thank you very much! (February, 2025)

I’ve shopped at Guitar Village for 20 odd years and always been pleased with their service. Even made the trek from Somerset to Farnham to exchange a Taylor acoustic I couldn’t get on with and was given superb deal. After 45 years of playing and collecting, a car accident and ill health meant swapping and giving up many of my guitars. I contacted all the large guitar shops and either had to send multiple photos of each guitar and/or was offered derisory trade in values. Derek and the guys at Guitar Village were immediately helpful when I contacted them, went out of their way to help an old customer and made me feel really valued. Guitars I can no longer play gone and superb advice on alternatives. I have used most of the big name guitar/music shops over the past 45 years, none come close to the service and professionalism of Guitar Village. I hope my health will improve and, if I shop for any new guitars, it will only be at Guitar Village, they make most of their competitors look like cowboys in my experience.
Do yourself a favour, forget the rest, go to the best: Guitar Village every day!

I’ve purchased several products from guitar village in person over the years as I used to produce music in Farnham with resident musician 'Ed Lee' and so just wanted to say thank you. My friend & I had been to Tunstone  Luthiers in Crowborough and got caught in traffic on our way to your facility to have a look for a Lowden guitar. We had intended to arrive at 4:30=5:00pm but arrived with 15 minutes to go before closing and received a welcome and polite reminder you closed @ six pm. I am writing to say how happy and unhurried I was treated and provided with a beautiful Lowden S23 to try. No pushing, harassment or any urgency was shown and I was let alone with said instrument to acclimatise with it! THANK YOU GUYS @ GUITAR VILLAGE!!!!!! A sale was made due to your ability and understanding of a musicians need to identify with an instrument of great quality and get to know it, even though it was, by this time, after closing time.
