Guitar Village is a licensed credit broker and offers a range of flexible finance options through our retail finance partner, V12 Retail Finance. You can apply online, over the phone, or in-store (ID required)—it’s quick, easy, and most of the time you’ll get an instant decision.
Availability: Finance is available on selected purchases over £280 (with a minimum loan amount of £250 after your deposit).
Flexible Terms: Terms are available from 6 to 48 months, with interest rates ranging from 0% APR to 19.9% APR representative depending on the item.
Exclusions: Finance options are not available at checkout on products with promotional discounts (e.g., Boss Gone Mad Sale ‘Mega Deals’, Summer Sizzler, Black Friday, etc.).
Deposits: A 10% minimum deposit is required upon acceptance and is the default deposit for all website orders. You can pay up to a 50% deposit to keep your monthly repayments down (please contact us directly to arrange a larger deposit).
14-Day Cooling-Off Period: You have the right to cancel the finance agreement within 14 days of the signature date and return the goods under Consumer Contracts Regulations. If you wish to cancel the finance agreement but keep the products, we will require payment in full via an alternative method.
To apply for finance, you must meet the following criteria:
Delivery Address Security: For mail orders, it is mandatory for the goods to be delivered directly to your home address as specified on the finance application. Because of these strict security checks, we cannot accept delivery to an alternative address or allow “Collect from store” on online finance orders.
You can apply for credit in three convenient ways:
Online: Add the items you wish to purchase to your shopping basket. At checkout, select the Finance option in the payment section and follow the step-by-step application. (The default deposit is set to 10%.)
By Phone: Call our team on 01252 726821. Our sales team will discuss the best finance package for you and email you a customized link to complete your application safely online.
In-Store: Simply visit our Farnham showroom. You will need to bring a valid photo ID (e.g., a driving licence or passport).
Get it Now: Buy the gear you want today and spread the cost with low monthly payments.
Upgrade Your Gear: Choose a higher-spec guitar for just a few pounds more per month.

At Guitar Village, we are committed to providing a transparent, fair, and supportive shopping experience for everyone. We understand that applying for retail finance is a legal and financial commitment. If you are experiencing circumstances that make it difficult to navigate this process, we are here to offer additional care, flexibility, and patience.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) defines a vulnerable customer as someone who, due to personal circumstances, is especially susceptible to detriment or harm, particularly when a firm does not act with an appropriate level of care.
Vulnerability can be temporary or permanent and can affect anyone. It is often driven by four main factors:
Health: Severe or long-term physical illness, mental health conditions, learning difficulties, or cognitive impairments.
Life Events: Major life changes such as bereavement, relationship breakdown, job loss, or sudden caring responsibilities.
Financial Resilience: A low or temporary reduction in income, high debt, or difficulty managing financial shocks.
Capability: Low confidence or difficulty understanding complex financial agreements, language barriers, or limited digital/literacy skills.
Our staff are trained to recognize signs of vulnerability and will adapt how we communicate to ensure you get a good, fair outcome. When you discuss a finance application with us, we promise to:
Show Patience and Empathy: We will never rush you. We will speak clearly, avoid confusing jargon, and happily repeat details as many times as you need.
Give You Time to Think: We do not believe in high-pressure sales. If you need time to consider a finance agreement, you can pause the application and complete it at a later date.
Support Third-Party Help: You are welcome to have a trusted friend, family member, or carer assist you with the conversation or process.
Handle Your Data Securely: Any personal health or sensitive information you share with us will be kept strictly confidential, and we will only record details of your needs with your explicit consent.
You do not have to detail your private circumstances if you do not wish to, but letting us know you need extra support helps us serve you better. Please get in touch using whichever method you find most comfortable:
