The Fender Telecaster has an Ash Body, Late-60s C Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, Modern Fender F-Stamp Tuners, Original 3-Saddle Bridge, Original Single Coils (rewound) Pickups, Incl. Non Original, Period Case.
Our 1967 Fender Telecaster has had a second string tree added and moved, leaving one extra hole in the headstock. The neck stamp reads 3SEP6713. The neck has a nitrocellulose finish.
The body has had a refin some years ago. The pots, cap and some wiring have all been replaced. The original pickups have been rewound, with new hookup wire in the bridge pickup. There is a route around the neck pickup, likely where a Strat pickup has been fitted at some point in the guitar's history. The control plate and one screw have been replaced. The switch tip has been glued on. The string ferrules are replacements. The jack socket has been replaced - previously a Gibson-style jack plate had been fitted. This has now been removed, resultant holes filled, and correct Telecaster-style jack socket installed.
Serial number, neck stamp and saddles all date to 1967.
