Based on long-standing guitar production knowledge, experience, and faith in quality and value, continually studying to create the best guitar in the world. Cort’s mission is to deliver the best instruments to passionate musicians around the world. Cort, initially founded in 1960, as an importer of keyboard instruments developed at it’s own pace from a humble piano importer to a wider entity offering guitar manufacturing in 1973. At this embryonic moment in the company’s history they adjusted their branding to Cort Musical Instruments, emphasised the production of quality guitars as it morphed into Cort-branded guitars in 1982. This innovation propelled the Cort name to the international electric guitar market and initiated the attention of other well-known brand name guitar manufacturers requiring contract guitar producers in Korea.
