Featuring a golden-brown burst on the soundboard, the Gold Label 517e SB exudes visual charm that reflects its old-school sonic personality. This reimagined Grand Pacific—updated with a deeper body than our original round-shoulder dreadnought—is a powerhouse acoustic-electric with exceptional low-end power. Solid mahogany back and sides are paired with a torrefied Sitka spruce top for a woody, earthy voice with pleasing midrange character. Our special soundboard roasting process contributes extra sweetness for a sound that’s even more reminiscent of older, played-in acoustics. Fanned V-Class interior bracing dials up extra volume and sustain while improving intonation along the entire fretboard. A slim, satin-finish Taylor neck boasts our patented long-tenon Action Control Neck™ joint, which allows for string height adjustments in seconds. This revolutionary design enhances the wood coupling between the neck and body, translating into more low-end resonance and a deeper, warmer, more open sound.

Showcasing the Gold Label Collection’s unique design details, this guitar features a modified headstock with an angled back cut and script-style Taylor logo inlay and a firestripe pickguard. A cream-colored pickguard is also available for this model. Its appointment package includes a Honduran rosewood Curve Wing bridge with Indian rosewood bridge pins, cream-colored Crest inlays on the fretboard and peghead, cream body binding, and a cream single-ring rosette. Outfitted with Taylor nickel tuners and LR Baggs Element VTC electronics, the Gold Label 517e ships in a British Cocoa deluxe hardshell case.

UK Delivery (Mainland & Non-Extended Areas): Free next-day service as standard on all guitars. Saturday delivery options are also available. Please contact us if you wish to specify a particular delivery date.

International Delivery: Worldwide shipping prices are calculated dynamically at checkout. Shipments are fully insured and tracked via our premium courier partners (UPS & DHL). Please note that local customs duties and taxes will be payable upon delivery.

As soon as a guitar is sold, it receives a comprehensive professional setup to ensure it plays beautifully right out of the box. Fed up with websites advertising guitars they don’t actually have? So are we! The Guitar Village website updates in real time. The exact second a guitar is sold, it is marked as 'Out of Stock' online. If our site says an item is ‘In Stock’, you can rest assured it is physically sitting on our racks or in our storeroom, ready to ship!

We don’t want you to experience any unwanted surprises when unboxing your new guitar, which is why we shoot our own high-resolution photography in-house.

Every mid- to high-end guitar, or any model featuring a uniquely figured top or distinct characteristics, is individually photographed. If you see "✓ Actual product in photograph(s)" on the listing, the guitar you see on your screen is the exact instrument that will arrive at your door. For solid colours or standard opaque finishes under £2000, we may use an exact model library example.

Click & collect

Don’t fancy waiting around at home for a courier to deliver your new gear? If you are within driving distance of our historic Farnham store, simply select “Collect from store” at checkout and pay securely online. Just pop into the shop with your proof of purchase and a valid photo ID (driving license or passport), and you can take your new guitar away right then and there!

Important Note for Finance Customers: Due to strict fraud prevention and security checks required by our finance provider, orders placed using V12 Retail Finance are not eligible for Click & Collect. All finance orders must be shipped directly to the verified residential address provided on your credit application.

Ex Demo & New Old Stock Products

Occasionally we feature items marked as ‘Ex-Demo’ or ‘New Old Stock’. These instruments are brand new structurally but may have minor finish markings, superficial play wear, or have undergone minor cosmetic repairs in our workshop. Any individual quirks will be clearly described on the listing, and the price is heavily discounted to offer you incredible value.
