The Rickenbacker 325 C64 has a Maple Body, Maple Neck, Rosewood Fretboard, Deluxe Vintage Repro Tuners, Roller Bridge w/Accent Vibrato, 3 Vintage Single-Coil Toaster Top Pickups, Incl. Case

The Rickenbacker 325 was designed Roger Rossmeisl in 1958, which most notably featured an extremely short 20.75" scale length. In the early 1960's John Lennon acquired a Jetglo 325 with a solid top. This resulted in the models popularity increasing tenfold and it becoming one the most iconic guitars in his collection.

A quick guide to the Ricki control panel.

What with this being a three pickup model, the pickups and controls are wired slightly differently to that of a dual setup. Essentially, the bass and middle pickup are wired together, and the instrument is controlled as thought it has only two. When the switch is down, the treble pickup is on. When it's in the middle position, all three pickups are activated and when it is up is the bass and middle pickups.

The fifth and final control works as a further tone control, it can work as a bass/treble EQ or to adjust the volume of the bass pickup in relation to the treble volume. The tonal possibilities are limitless with this guitar, it's not wonder Mr. Lennon favoured it so much!

The British Invasion of 1964 initiated a rise in popularity of the model 325. The Model 325C64 duplicates the Model 325 as produced in 1964, complete with semi-hollow Maple body, re-shaped body and headstock, three vintage-style pickups, and Accent Vibrato. Offered in Jetglo finish.

Real time stock levels

Fed up with websites advertising guitar that they don’t actually have? So are we! The Guitar Village website is updated in real-time, so that means the second we sell out of a guitar the website will say ‘out of stock’. If it says ‘In Stock’, rest assured we do actually have it in stock and ready to go!

Actual image photography

We don’t want you to have any nasty surprises when you receive a guitar from us so we do our own photography in-house.

Any high-end guitar with a figured finish or unique features will have its own images. If you see “✓ Actual product in photograph(s)” next to the product listing, this will be the actual item you receive.

Any guitar priced under £2000 with an opaque/block finish, or lightly figured woods may have an example image of the guitar.

Ex Demo/New Old Stock Products

Occasionally we list items as ‘Ex Demo’ or ‘New Old Stock’. These are new but may not necessarily be in perfect condition and could have had minor repairs, marks, scratches and/or other defects.

These will be fully described and discounted accordingly.

At Guitar Village we're committed to offering you the very best shopping experience possible. We strive to provide you with an unmatched choice of guitars as well as our award-winning friendly customer service, combined with the best prices in the UK. Occasionally the odd price pops up a little cheaper somewhere else. We don't want any of our customers to ever have to decide between our high level of service and a lower price, so we will always endeavour to price match our UK competitors.

To qualify for a price match it must be:

  • From an official authorised dealer,
  • Identical to the product we are selling (model, colour, specs),
  • In stock and ready to ship,
  • Clearly advertised at the cheaper price on their website (not a price quoted over the phone),
  • An outright purchase price, not including finance, part exchange or any other offer.

Usually these cheaper prices are offered by online-only warehouse retailers with little overheads and a "stack 'em high, sell 'em cheap" philosophy, sacrificing the customer service that's essential to back-up any purchase.

When you buy from Guitar Village you can rest assured that your item will be:

  • In stock if the website says it is,
  • Guitars fully setup to any given requirements by one of our full time in-house guitar techs prior to dispatch,
  • Triple checked through our extensive quality control,
  • Safely and securely packaged, then dispatched using UPS - fully tracked and insured,
  • Full after-sales customer support.
