The Patina PPJB-3 has a Paulownia Body, Roasted Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, Vintage Style Open Gear Tuners, Split-Coil & Single Coil Custom Alnico V Pickups.

Traditional split-coil in the classic P-style position. Single-coil at the bridge. Classic P-style body. The PPJB-3 gives you the warmth, punch and midrange authority of a P-style bass, with added clarity and cut from the bridge pickup. Use them separately or blend them together. Either way, this bass finds its place in the mix.

Nitrocellulose lacquer over a lightweight Paulownia body breathes and ages honestly, checking, wearing in and becoming uniquely yours over time. The satin roasted maple neck with rosewood board feels comfortable immediately. Stainless steel jumbo frets offer long-lasting durability and a smooth playing feel. Custom-wound Alnico V pickups deliver definition and bite without harshness. Vintage-style open gear tuners keep things stable. Luminous side dots help keep you oriented on dark stages.

Any order placed before 2pm (Mon-Fri) will be dispatched that same day. We ship worldwide, fully tracked and insured, so you can follow your shipment online every step of the way.

UK Delivery (Mainland & Non-Extended Areas): Free next-day service as standard on all guitars. Saturday delivery options are also available. Please contact us if you wish to specify a particular delivery date.

International Delivery: Worldwide shipping prices are calculated dynamically at checkout. Shipments are fully insured and tracked via our premium courier partners (UPS & DHL). Please note that local customs duties and taxes will be payable upon delivery.

We know how much of a gamble it can be purchasing a guitar online without trying it first. That’s why if you receive your order and it’s not exactly what you were expecting, simply notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery to arrange an exchange or full refund.

Items must be returned to us in their original, showroom condition. Online and telephone purchases only.

As soon as a guitar is sold, it receives a comprehensive professional setup to ensure it plays beautifully right out of the box. Real time stock levels

Fed up with websites advertising guitars they don’t actually have? So are we! The Guitar Village website updates in real time. The exact second a guitar is sold, it is marked as 'Out of Stock' online. If our site says an item is ‘In Stock’, you can rest assured it is physically sitting on our racks or in our storeroom, ready to ship!

We don’t want you to experience any unwanted surprises when unboxing your new guitar, which is why we shoot our own high-resolution photography in-house.

Every mid- to high-end guitar, or any model featuring a uniquely figured top or distinct characteristics, is individually photographed. If you see "✓ Actual product in photograph(s)" on the listing, the guitar you see on your screen is the exact instrument that will arrive at your door. For solid colours or standard opaque finishes under £2000, we may use an exact model library example.

Click & collect

Don’t fancy waiting around at home for a courier to deliver your new gear? If you are within driving distance of our historic Farnham store, simply select “Collect from store” at checkout and pay securely online. Just pop into the shop with your proof of purchase and a valid photo ID (driving license or passport), and you can take your new guitar away right then and there!

Important Note for Finance Customers: Due to strict fraud prevention and security checks required by our finance provider, orders placed using V12 Retail Finance are not eligible for Click & Collect. All finance orders must be shipped directly to the verified residential address provided on your credit application.

Ex Demo & New Old Stock Products

Occasionally we feature items marked as ‘Ex-Demo’ or ‘New Old Stock’. These instruments are brand new structurally but may have minor finish markings, superficial play wear, or have undergone minor cosmetic repairs in our workshop. Any individual quirks will be clearly described on the listing, and the price is heavily discounted to offer you incredible value.
