The Ovation E-Acoustic Guitar Celebrity Elite Deluxe Plus Ltd 2026 Deep Contour has a Flamed Gabon Mahogany Top, Lyrachord Back & Sides, Ovation "V" Mahogany Neck, Nato Fingerboard, Die Cast Ovation Pro Series Tuners, Ovangkol Bridge, Ovation CP-100 Slimline Pickup, OP-4CT Preamp with Tuner.

Flamed okoume, also known as Aucoumea klaineana, is a very visually appealing wood and has therefore been used in guitar making for many years. The wood used for our guitars comes from Gabon on the West African coast and therefore bears the trade name Gabon mahogany.  Mahogany is generally used in many areas: It is often used for the neck and body of electric guitars, while the flamed version is often used for the back, sides or top of acoustic guitars.

In terms of sound, it offers a rich bass, controlled highs and perfectly balanced mids and therefore makes a significant contribution to the  balanced overall sound of a guitar. Gabon mahogany can have a light to reddish-brown colour; we have opted for the light version to give the amber finish and grain additional depth. Gold-plated machine heads from the Pro series and a special MOP inlay on the 12th fret underline the colour concept and the high-quality overall impression of the CDX40-1G. Further highlights of this guitar are the side ports which, in combination with the Quintad bracing, create a particularly appealing sound experience for players and listeners. UK Delivery (Mainland & Non-Extended Areas): Free next-day service as standard on all guitars. Saturday delivery options are also available. Please contact us if you wish to specify a particular delivery date.

International Delivery: Worldwide shipping prices are calculated dynamically at checkout. Shipments are fully insured and tracked via our premium courier partners (UPS & DHL). Please note that local customs duties and taxes will be payable upon delivery.

We know how much of a gamble it can be purchasing a guitar online without trying it first. That’s why if you receive your order and it’s not exactly what you were expecting, simply notify us within 14 calendar days of delivery to arrange an exchange or full refund.

Items must be returned to us in their original, showroom condition. Online and telephone purchases only.

The exact second a guitar is sold, it is marked as 'Out of Stock' online. If our site says an item is ‘In Stock’, you can rest assured it is physically sitting on our racks or in our storeroom, ready to ship!

We don’t want you to experience any unwanted surprises when unboxing your new guitar, which is why we shoot our own high-resolution photography in-house.

Every mid- to high-end guitar, or any model featuring a uniquely figured top or distinct characteristics, is individually photographed. If you see "✓ Actual product in photograph(s)" on the listing, the guitar you see on your screen is the exact instrument that will arrive at your door. For solid colours or standard opaque finishes under £2000, we may use an exact model library example.

Click & collect

Don’t fancy waiting around at home for a courier to deliver your new gear? If you are within driving distance of our historic Farnham store, simply select “Collect from store” at checkout and pay securely online. Just pop into the shop with your proof of purchase and a valid photo ID (driving license or passport), and you can take your new guitar away right then and there!

Important Note for Finance Customers: Due to strict fraud prevention and security checks required by our finance provider, orders placed using V12 Retail Finance are not eligible for Click & Collect. All finance orders must be shipped directly to the verified residential address provided on your credit application.

Ex Demo & New Old Stock Products

Occasionally we feature items marked as ‘Ex-Demo’ or ‘New Old Stock’. These instruments are brand new structurally but may have minor finish markings, superficial play wear, or have undergone minor cosmetic repairs in our workshop. Any individual quirks will be clearly described on the listing, and the price is heavily discounted to offer you incredible value.
