The Gretsch Chet Atkins Country Gentleman has a Laminated Maple Body, Medium C Maple Neck, Ebony Fingerboard, Original Grover Tuners, Original Gretsch Roller Bridge, Replacement Humbuckers, Incl. Original Case.
Since the serial number is missing (foam added and removed obscuring serial number) we can't be exact on the year of this guitar. However, the previous owner believed this to be a 1972 model, which the open F-holes would attest to. The refin includes two stickers - one on the front and one on the back. Replacement electronics, including pickups, and Pickguard is missing. Extra holes have been drilled and filled in the top. The truss rod adjuster has snapped, however the neck has the correct amount of relief. Frets lightly pitted. The original case has a new handle. Some foam has at some point been added to the inside of the guitar and removed, leaving some visible traces.
