The Fender Jazzmaster has an Alder Body, 70’s U-Profile, Maple Neck, Rosewood Fingerboard, Replacement Tuners, Floating Tremolo Bridge, Original Soapbar Pickups, Incl. Original Hard Case.
Our 1972 Fender Jazzmaster in 3-tone sunburst has two filled holes on the front of the headstock. There are multiple small holes in the pickguard that have been filled. There are holes in the body beneath the guard that have been left unfilled. At some point in its history the guitar has had different tuners fitted. The original tuners are back on the guitar, however the previous replacements have left holes underneath the originals.
The heel stamp is faded, but appears to read 13th November 71B. The tone pot dates to 1966, however this is very common with Fenders up to the early 1970s. The volume pot codes are illegible, but this is most likely more recent.
The guitar has a replacement nut and replacement pickup screws.
