Guitar Village are very happy to announce that we have been selected by Gibson Custom to host the very first dedicated Gibson Made 2 Measure Showroom in Europe.

This unique experience will give consumers the chance to visit the showroom at the shop, discuss the custom options available with Gibson experts, and hand pick the very piece of wood they would like their new dream custom shop guitar to be built with. Think Saville Row, but for guitars.

The ability to hand pick tops is usually something reserved only for the top Gibson Custom dealers in the world at the Nashville factory, so we’re really excited to offer this once in a lifetime opportunity. We have a great selection of top blanks available to view and handle here in the shop, then once you’ve chosen your perfect piece and agreed your full specs we will package it up and ship it off with your spec sheet to Gibson to begin the build process.

• All tops are fully serialised to make sure the top you pick is the one they use.
• Once completed, Gibson will ship your finished guitar to us and we will then get in contact to arrange delivery or collection.
• Estimated build and ship time is usually 6-8 weeks from the order date.
• We will usually be able to give you an instant quote while you sit back and sip something lovely, surrounded by a few guitars Gibson made earlier.

All of this is now available exclusively at Guitar Village as a permanent fixture in one of our many display rooms – housed in a stunning unique 15th century building, next to our own vintage museum.
